Question 1

Where can I buy food, drinks and groceries in Jos?

Accepted Answer

RheoChat Store lists 1,010 food, drinks and groceries listings from independent businesses in Jos, Plateau State. You browse them by shop, pay online by card, bank transfer or USSD, and the seller delivers to your address in Jos.

Question 2

How much is delivery in Jos?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the shop and your address, and you see the exact figure before you pay. Each seller is quoted separately from your location at checkout, so a basket from two Jos shops shows two delivery fees rather than one estimate.

Question 3

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Card, bank transfer or USSD, in naira. Payment happens online when you place the order. Some sellers also offer pickup, in which case you collect from their address and there is no delivery fee.

Question 4

Is it safe to buy from a shop I don't know?

Accepted Answer

Marketplace payments are held in escrow rather than paid straight to the seller. If something arrives wrong, report it within 30 minutes of delivery and the shop's price for it goes back to your RheoChat wallet.
